Pearl Handicrafts

You can find us right near the Nathwas circle in Nathdwara. It is a very busy spot and there is always something happening outside near the junction. We spend our days working on different kinds of handicrafts. The shop always smells a bit like wood or paint depending on what we are making that week. We have various items on display, from small carvings to larger pieces that people like to take home. Most of the things here are made by hand, so they are not all exactly the same. You might find a little mark here or there, but that is just part of how things look when a person makes them instead of a factory. We have stuff piled up in the corners and on the shelves, and it can look a bit messy to an outsider. We do not have a big showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a workshop where we also sell what we produce. People traveling through the circle often pop in to have a look around while they wait for their bus or taxi. We have been at this location for a good number of years. We do not do much advertising, we just put a few things out front so people can see them. It is hard work and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day, but it is what we know.
