Padamthal Restaurant & Dining Hall

We’ve been here in Sector 3 for a while now. Most people know us because we’re right above JMB, which is a big landmark around Hiran Magri. If you’re coming from the overbridge, you can’t miss us. It’s a dining hall, so it’s pretty straightforward. We mostly get families and people who just want a proper meal without too much fuss. Being opposite Nehru Hostel means we see a lot of students too. The place gets busy during lunch and dinner hours. It’s just how things are in Udaipur, everyone wants to eat at the right time. We don't do anything fancy, just standard seating and a regular menu. Sometimes the stairs up from the street can be a bit of a climb if you're tired, but once you're inside, it’s cool and quiet enough to eat in peace. The staff has been around for some time. We know the regulars by face. It isn't a massive place, but we manage. You find us easily enough if you look for the JMB sign. We keep the tables clean and the water jugs filled. That’s about it. People come, they eat, and then they go about their day. It's a simple operation we run here. Nothing more to it than serving food to neighbors and travelers passing through Sector 3. It's a busy part of town but we keep our corner steady.
