Our workshop is out in Bhuwana, right on the NH-8 and very close to the Jain Temple. Because we’re near the highway, we get a lot of trucks passing by, and it stays pretty noisy throughout the day. The building is a simple structure that we've adapted over the years to fit our needs. We have a lot of outdoor space where we keep the raw materials. Most of the work happens in the shade of the overhangs. We deal with a lot of natural materials, so there’s always the smell of wood, stone, or clay around us. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. We wear work clothes and don't mind a bit of dirt on our hands. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a filing cabinet that doesn’t always lock right. We spend our mornings checking on the progress of different pieces. It gets quite dusty being near the road, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning. The Jain Temple nearby is a nice landmark, and we often see people stopping there before they notice our sign. We don't have a big sales team; it’s just a few of us managing the production and the shipping. We drink our tea outside when the weather is nice. It’s a practical, no-nonsense place to work, and we focus on getting the daily tasks done without much fuss.
