Natural Art & Crafts

We are located at 87, City Palace Road which is a pretty hectic spot to be in most days. Natural Art & Crafts isn’t very large but we try to keep a good variety of things on hand. Every morning starts with opening up the heavy metal shutters and dusting off the shelves because the road traffic kicks up a lot of grit. We deal with all sorts of items made from natural materials and our back room is usually overflowing with new stock waiting to be sorted. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep everything organized when space is tight. The street outside is always full of rickshaws and people heading toward the palace gates. We spend a lot of time talking to the other shopkeepers on the block while we wait for the day to pick up. Sometimes we sit on the small stools out front just to get some air. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the stuff we’ve collected over time. It’s a simple way of working and we know most of the people who pass by every day. When it rains, the water sometimes splashes into the front of the shop so we have to move everything back quickly. It’s just the usual daily chores that keep us busy from morning until we lock up at night.
