Millets Of Mewar

We’re over at Hanuman Ghat, just outside Chandpole in Udaipur. It’s a nice part of town, right in the 313001 area near the lake. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the streets change over the years. Our spot isn't anything too fancy. We just have a simple setup where we do our work every day. Being in Udaipur Ho means we get a lot of people walking by, especially tourists who are wandering around Hanuman Ghat. We don't spend much money on advertising or anything like that. Most people just find us because they’re in the neighborhood and see the sign. Inside, things are pretty relaxed. We aren't the type of people to wear uniforms or follow a strict corporate script. We just talk to people like they're our neighbors, because usually, they are. The building is old, like most things in this part of Udaipur, so it has its share of uneven floors and thick walls. We like the character of it, though. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the breeze from the lake helps a little. We spend our time preparing things and making sure the place is ready for whoever comes through the door. It’s just us, working hard in a beautiful part of Rajasthan, trying to keep things simple and real for everyone who stops by our little corner of the world. There’s always a few stray cats hanging around outside the door.
