Sukher is a busy place, especially around Udyog Vihar where we are. Our office is at 96A, and it’s usually humming with some kind of activity. Being in exports means there is always a container being packed or some papers that need signing. It isn’t always glamorous work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at shipping schedules. The sun gets really hot out here in Sukher, so we try to get the heavy stuff done in the morning. We’ve got a small team, and we all know each other’s habits by now. Someone is always making tea or complaining about the heat. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of samples sitting around. Sometimes the trucks get delayed, and that throws the whole day off, but you learn to just go with it. It’s a lot of coordination between the factory floor and the shipping ports. We keep a close eye on the crates before they head out because once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s a practical kind of job. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and the locals know us. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders out on time without making too many mistakes. It’s just how we make our living here in the industrial area.
