Maharana Arts & Crafts

We are Maharana Arts & Crafts, located at Lal Niwas Sardarpura. Our place is right opposite M.G. College, so we see a lot of students walking by every single day. The building, Lal Niwas, has been here for a long time and has a bit of character to it. Inside, it is filled with all sorts of arts and crafts items. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes it is hard to find what you are looking for because there is so much. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. Sometimes the college kids come in just to browse between their classes. It’s not a high-end gallery or anything like that. It is just a local shop where we keep busy with our inventory. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and arranging things on the tables. The street outside can get quite loud during the mornings when everyone is heading to the college. We like being in Sardarpura because it is a lively part of town. Most of our days are spent talking to regulars and keeping the shop in order. It is a simple life at Maharana Arts & Crafts. We don't do much in the way of advertising. People just know where we are and stop by when they need something for a project. We just keep things ticking along as usual.
