Kuwar Kalewa Restaurant

Kuwar Kalewa Restaurant is right here at 20, Hameer Bhawan, just a short walk towards Bedla Road. If you are coming from Fatehpura Circle, we are only about 150 meters away, so it is not hard to find us at all. We have been in this part of Udaipur for a while now. The building is an old one, and you can see the busy street life right outside our doors every single day. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic and people heading to work. We spend a lot of time just getting the kitchen ready and making sure the tables are wiped down properly before the first few people wander in. It gets pretty hot in this part of Rajasthan, especially during the summer months, so we try to keep things as comfortable as we can inside. We are not a fancy place with big signs or anything like that. It is just a regular spot where people from the neighborhood come to eat when they do not feel like cooking at home. Sometimes travelers passing through on their way to other parts of Udaipur stop by because we are so close to the main circle. We mostly just focus on getting the food out on time and making sure nobody leaves hungry. It is a lot of work running a kitchen in this heat, but we are used to the routine by now. We just stay busy and keep the place going.
