Kalika Roof Top Restaurant

Our place is right on the roof of the Kalika Palace Hotel at F-18 in Udaipur HO. Because we are up high, you get a different perspective of the Ambav Gargh area. We are very close to Fateh Sagar, which is where everyone seems to end up when they visit this part of Rajasthan. The 313001 zip code is a lively place, and being near the water makes it a bit more special. We are just a local rooftop spot, nothing too polished or corporate. We don't spend money on big ads; we just rely on people finding us when they are staying at the hotel or walking around the lake area. It’s a lot of stairs sometimes, or the elevator if it’s running, but that’s just how the building is. We keep the atmosphere casual because that’s how we like it ourselves. The staff here are just regular folks from the city. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean and ready for whoever wants to sit outside. It’s a bit of a climb, but once you’re up here, you can see why we like this location. We just do our thing day in and day out, making sure the rooftop is a decent place to spend some time while you're in Udaipur. The weather usually dictates how the day goes, especially being out in the open air like this, which is just part of being in Rajasthan.
