Jain Restaurant & caffe

We set up our restaurant and cafe out here on NH-8 in the Bhuwana area of Udaipur. We're situated right near the SBI Bank, so most people use that as a landmark to find us. Being on the highway means we get a mix of local folks from the 313001 area and people driving through Rajasthan. It’s a bit of a hybrid place because we serve full meals but also have a cafe setup for those who just want a coffee or a quick snack. The space isn't huge, but we've squeezed in enough tables for families to sit comfortably. We didn't hire an architect or anything; we just put the place together ourselves with what we had. The kitchen is visible from the counter, so you can see us working away. It gets quite dusty being near the highway, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and tables. My brother handles the coffee machine while I look after the cooking. It’s a lot of work, but we like being our own bosses. We don't have a fancy website or big posters. People just see our sign from the road and pull over. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where you can get something to eat without any fuss. We're just trying to run a steady business here in Bhuwana. It’s a long road and we’re glad to be a small part of it for people.
