You can find us over at 5-E Ambamata in the Vardhman Nagar area. Our place is called Handicrafts House, and it sits right near Roshanji Ki Badi. It’s a bit further out from the main tourist spots, so it’s a lot quieter around here. We have a decent-sized space filled with all sorts of handmade items. It’s not very organized, to be honest. We just put things where they fit. I think that’s just how we do things here. You have to really look around to find what you want. We spend a lot of our time just sitting out front when it’s slow, watching the neighbors go about their business. It’s a friendly area, and we know most of the people who live on this street. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have interesting things for people to see. The building is older, and sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon rains are really heavy, but we manage to keep the stock dry. We use old wooden tables to show off the crafts, and some of them have been with us since we started. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We don’t rush anyone who comes in. You can take your time and just poke around the different rooms we have here. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home for the night.
