The Chola International School

Our school is out in Kasavalanadu Puthur Village, specifically on the road that goes from Vilar to Sokalai. It is tucked away in the Kandithampattu area of Thanjavur. The location is a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for the students. We have a fairly large space here where the children spend their day. Mornings usually start with the buses rolling in from different parts of the district. The teachers are usually here early, setting up their chalk and getting the lessons ready. It’s a lot of responsibility to keep everything running smooth. The school day has its own rhythm, with bells marking the end of each period. The hallways are mostly quiet during class time, but once the break hits, it’s a different story. We have some trees around the perimeter that give a bit of shade. The building itself is simple and functional. We don't have a big PR team or a shiny head office. It’s just us, the staff, working directly with the kids. Thanjavur can get very warm, so we make sure there is plenty of water for everyone. Parents often stop by the office to check on things or pay fees. We just handle it as it comes. The Chola International School is just a place where kids come to learn their lessons and grow up a little bit every day. It is a long day for everyone, but we just keep going.
