Brindhavan School

Brindhavan School is tucked away in Brindhavan Nagar, over in the Sukkiranpatti area of Pattukottai. We’ve been here for several years now, just handling the day-to-day work of teaching kids from the surrounding neighborhoods. The roads around Sukkiranpatti can be a bit dusty sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, but once you get inside the school gates, it’s a bit calmer. We aren't a massive institution with hundreds of staff. It’s a smaller setup where everyone pretty much knows each other’s names and faces. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and making sure the fans are working, especially in the summer heat. Most of the families who send their children here live within a few kilometers, so there’s a real local feel to the place. We don’t do much advertising because most people find out about us through word of mouth. If someone’s cousin or neighbor likes it here, they tell someone else. That’s how we’ve grown over time. We have the usual subjects and some space for sports, nothing too over the top. It’s just a practical school for local people. Some of the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the classrooms are filled with students and that’s what matters to us. We just keep things moving, focusing on the lessons and making sure the kids stay out of trouble during their lunch breaks. It's a simple life here in Pattukottai.
