Vastup Architects & Interior Designer

Vastup Architects & Interior Designer is located on the first floor of Patnekars Bungalow. It feels more like a home than a regular office, which is something we actually like. There is a certain quietness here that you don't get in those big glass buildings downtown. We have been here for some time now, and the walls are filled with old projects and half-finished sketches. You have to walk up the stairs to reach us. Sometimes the doorbell sticks, so people just knock on the door. We handle both the building design and the interior bits, though it often feels like we are just moving furniture around on a piece of paper. It is not a very formal place. You might find us sitting around the main table eating lunch while talking about a wall that needs to be moved in a drawing. We do not have a secretary or a big reception desk. If you call, one of us will just pick up the phone if we are not busy with a drawing. Working out of Patnekars Bungalow gives us a bit of a different perspective on things. We try to keep it simple and not use too many fancy words that nobody understands. We just focus on the job at hand. The lighting in here is a bit dim in the corners, but we have lamps for the drawing boards. It is just a regular group of people doing their work.
