Omni Design is basically just a group of us working out of the Satguru Elegance Building. We are located on Vaman Tare Marg over in the Rutu Park area. The office is usually full of samples, bits of wood, and paper drawings scattered around. It’s not always the tidiest place but that is how we work. We spend a lot of time talking about walls and floors and where things should go. Sometimes we argue about colors until late in the evening. The building itself is okay, easy enough to find if you know where Rutu Park is. We’ve been here for a bit now and have gotten used to the local sounds and the way the light comes through the windows in the afternoon. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team trying to figure out how to make spaces look decent. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at site photos. We try to keep things simple and avoid the complicated talk. If someone comes by, they’ll probably find us drinking tea and staring at a floor plan. It gets a bit hectic when multiple projects are happening at once but we manage. Being in this part of town is nice because it’s not right in the middle of the loudest traffic. We just show up, do the drawings, and go home when we are finished. It is a steady way to spend the week.
