Rank Architects

Rank Architects is based out of Thane West, specifically in Bhakti Park. We are in Phase 1, in building D 602. If you are coming down Ghodbunder Road, you know it can be a bit of a drive depending on the time of day. Anand Nagar is a nice enough area to have an office, and we have been here for a good stretch of time. Our space is filled with the usual stuff you would expect from an architect's place—lots of sketches, some models, and computers that are always running. We mostly work on local projects around Thane and the surrounding suburbs. It is interesting to see how much this part of the city has changed recently. There are always new developments popping up. We spend our mornings going through emails and then the afternoons are usually for the actual design work or visiting sites to see how the laborers are getting on. It is a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes it feels like there are not enough hours in the day to get through the pile of drawings on the desk. We don't really go for anything too flashy. We just try to make sure the plans make sense for the people who will eventually live or work in the buildings. It is a lot of back and forth with clients, but that is the nature of the business and we like it.
