J R Architects

We’ve been running J R Architects out of this small shop in the Kanchan Pushpa Prabhav building for a while now. Our place is shop number six, unit A-5, right there on the ground floor. If you know Ghodbunder Road in Thane West, you’ve probably driven past us, especially since the traffic gets so heavy near Suraj Water Park. Being right opposite the water park makes it easy for people to find us, though. Most days it’s just us inside, working through sketches or dealing with blueprints that seem to take up every bit of desk space we have. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical place where we can get our work done without too many distractions. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the vehicles outside on the main road, but you get used to that living and working in Thane West, 400601. Handling architectural stuff is what we do, from the initial site visits to the final drawings that contractors need. People walk in asking about renovations or new builds, and we just sit down and chat about what’s possible. There’s always a lot of paper everywhere, and the coffee machine is usually running. We grew up around here, so we know how the local building rules work and what the climate does to different materials. It’s a decent spot to be. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on the next set of plans or answering calls from sites. Since we don’t have a big team, things stay pretty personal and straightforward.
