We have been based at Fenkin Bellaza for a while now. Most people in Thane know the spot because of Hypercity Mall being right nearby. Being up on the second floor means it is usually quiet enough for us to get through our work without too much noise from GB Road. We handle various projects here and it is mostly a small team of us sitting around desks covered in drawings and coffee cups. The traffic on the main road is sometimes a nightmare in the evenings, but we manage by getting in early. We do not do much fancy talking here. If someone walks in, we just talk about what they need for their building or their space in plain terms. It is mostly practical stuff and we do not use big words to sound important. Some days are much busier than others, especially when site visits are all piled up on the same day. We have seen Kasarvadavali change quite a bit over the years. It used to be much emptier than it is now. Today there are shops and buildings everywhere you look. We try to keep things straightforward because no one really has time for complicated explanations. We just focus on the job at hand. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up but we are used to it by now. We deal with blueprints and permissions and all those technical things. It is hard work but it keeps us going. (246 words)
