If you’re looking for us, we’re in Room No 8 at Kiran Society in Thane West. It’s right in the middle of Dada Patil Wadi. The area is always crowded because we’re right opposite Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers. You know how busy Navpada gets. Finding a parking spot is a nightmare, so most of us just take the train or walk from the station. The office is small and gets quite warm in the afternoons. We have desks crammed with computers and large monitors for the 3D work we do. There are stacks of paper everywhere. We do a lot of architectural planning here. It’s noisy outside with the traffic and people shouting, but we’re used to it. Sometimes the chai wala brings us snacks in the evening. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door opens it. We spend our days clicking away at mice and talking about floor plans. It’s a practical space for people who actually do the work. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with other projects to worry about that. Navpada is a lively place to be. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this street, but we’re still here in Kiran Society. It’s just a regular office where we do our architecture stuff every day.
