Vividh Gems

You can find Vividh Gems over at 206, Pramukh Darshan Apartment. We are right across from Patidar Bhavan in the Rampura area. It is more of an apartment-style office than a big store. We like it that way because it is a bit more private for the kind of work we do with gems. The neighborhood is usually quite active, especially with it being in Rampura. We spend our days looking at different stones, sorting them by size and color, and dealing with the local trade. It is a lot of looking through magnifying glasses and sitting at desks. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. It’s just us, a few desks, and the gems. Sometimes we have people coming in to show us what they have, and other days we are just packing things up to send out. The space in Pramukh Darshan is cozy but it can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock in. We don't really do any fancy advertising. Word of mouth is mostly how people hear about us. We’ve been here for a while and we know the neighbors. It’s just a regular, practical business. We try to be fair and do our work carefully. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focused on the stones and the daily chores of running a small office in Surat. We just take things one day at a time. There's always a bit of tea being made and papers to sign.
