Sky Disposables

Our shop is at 212 Gate Way Business Street, right across from the Shyamdham Temple. If you know the Varachha Road area or the Sarthana Jakat Naka, you’ll find us easily. It’s a lively part of town with a lot of movement. We deal in disposables—mostly things people use once and then throw away. The store is usually stacked high with boxes of plates, cups, and that kind of thing. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of. Sometimes the aisles get a bit narrow because we have so much stock coming in. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks. It’s physical work and can be pretty tiring when the weather is hot. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with everything. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We get all sorts of customers, from people planning a small party at home to shopkeepers buying in bulk. It’s nice being near the temple; there’s a certain energy to the street. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the business street grow. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics. People come in, they see what we have, and they buy what they need. It’s honest work. Our hands are usually dry from handling all that cardboard and paper. We keep a big fan blowing in the corner to try and move the humid air around. It’s not always comfortable, but we get the orders out. When the temple bells ring in the evening, we know it's almost time to stop.
