Ramesh Flour Mill

Ramesh Flour Mill is just a small place at C-11 in Ambika Nagar. If you know Trikam Nagar, we are right there off Lh Road. It isn’t a big operation by any means. We just have a few machines that we keep running throughout the day. The noise is something you get used to after a few years. Most of our day is spent weighing bags and making sure the grain is fed into the hoppers correctly. It’s dusty work, and by the evening, everything has a thin layer of white on it. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, bags end up everywhere. Neighbors stop by to drop off their wheat and then come back later once the heat of the day has died down. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been in this spot for a long time. Sometimes the machines need a bit of fixing, and we do that ourselves right here on the floor. It’s just how things are done. Working on Lh Road means there’s always traffic and noise outside, but inside we just focus on the grinding. We don’t talk much when the motors are going because you can’t hear anyway. It’s a simple life, just making flour and chatting with the regulars when things quiet down. It’s what we know how to do. The Lh Road traffic usually calms down late at night, but we are usually closed and home by then.
