Sahajanand Foods & Agrotech

Our place is situated at Kholvad Linking Road, 65-D,andra West 274. It’s a bit of a long address, but once you get here, you’ll see we are quite busy with the food and agrotech side of things. Sahajanand Foods & Agrotech isn't a supermarket; it’s more of a hub where we handle various products from the farms. There are sacks of grain and crates of different items stacked up in the loading area. It’s often quite dusty because of all the movement, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded near the entrance. We have a small office space where we keep the records, but most of the time we are out on the floor checking the quality of what comes in. We don't use much fancy technology, just basic scales and our own eyes to make sure things look right. The weather really affects our day-to-day work, especially when it rains and we have to move everything inside quickly. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and farmers, so the phone is always ringing. It’s not a glamorous job, and the hours can be long during harvest times. We don't have a marketing department or glossy brochures. We just focus on getting the food products where they need to go. It’s a vital part of the local economy, and we take it seriously in our own quiet way. We usually lock up around seven in the evening and head home to rest.
