Panseriya Gems

Our place is located at 75/B in the Shen Milan Society, which is over in the Chhikuwadi area of Nana Varachha Road. It’s a bit different because we are tucked into a residential society rather than a big commercial tower. This part of Surat is always busy with people involved in the diamond trade. We spend our time here sorting through gems and making sure they are ready for the next step. It is a family-like atmosphere since most of us have known each other for a long time. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some sturdy tables and good lamps for the work. Outside, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—scooters buzzing by and people talking in the street. We usually start our day early when the light is good and keep going until the evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life here. We don't put on any acts or try to sound like a big corporation. We’re just local people who know a lot about gems and work hard to keep the business running. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It is just a normal day for us at the office in Shen Milan society.
