Mexican Rodeo

You can find us up on the third floor of VR Mall on Dumas Road in Surat. It is a big, modern mall, and we are one of the spots in the food court area. Mexican Rodeo is a bit different from the usual stuff you find around here. We wanted to bring those kinds of flavors to our city. Being in a mall means it is always busy, especially on Saturday and Sunday when everyone in Surat seems to show up at once. It is a lot of work keeping up with the crowds. We have a small team behind the counter trying to get the orders right. It is not a quiet place, but malls never are. We deal with the buzz and the music and the constant stream of people walking by. We try to keep our ingredients fresh, which is not always easy when you are working out of a mall kitchen, but we make it work. The menu is simple and we try to make it easy for people to pick what they want quickly. We are not a fancy sit-down restaurant with waiters; it is more about getting a good meal while you are out shopping or seeing a movie with friends. Sometimes the line gets long and people have to wait, but we move as fast as we can. It is a lively place to be and we enjoy the energy of the mall. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
