Dhosa N Dhosas

Our shop is tucked into the Abhilasha Shopping Complex, specifically at Shop No F 19 and 20. We are right on Aai Mata Road in Parvat Patia, which is a really busy part of Surat. If you see the Maruti Suzuki showroom, you’re basically there. We’ve been flipping dosas here for a while now. The space isn't huge, so it gets pretty cramped when the evening crowd shows up, especially on Sundays. We’ve got the big iron tawas going all day, and the smell of fermented batter is always in the air. It gets hot in the kitchen, but we’re used to it. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out from all the walking, but we keep them scrubbed. We don't have fancy menus or waiters in uniforms; it’s just us making sure the sambar is hot and the coconut chutney is fresh. Most of our customers are families from the nearby apartments who come in for a quick bite. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Sometimes we run out of a certain topping before the night ends, but people usually don't mind. It’s just a straightforward shop where we work hard and try to keep the line moving. It’s nothing more than a local eatery where you can grab a chair and eat without worrying about anything other than enjoying your food.
