Kotak Pan Centre

I've been here at Kotak Pan Centre for quite some time now. We are located right on Varachha Road, specifically in Karimpura Bajar 3. Most mornings start early, usually around the time the first buses start rolling down the main road. It gets pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and people shouting, but that's just how the bazaar is. I spend a lot of my day behind this small wooden counter, just watching the world go by. People stop in for their usual stuff, maybe stay for a minute to complain about the heat or talk about some news they heard. I try to keep the place tidy, sweeping the front step at least twice because of all the dust that blows in from the street. It’s not a big shop or anything fancy, just a regular spot where you can grab what you need. Sometimes the light inside flickers a bit, but it still works well enough. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I first opened, with more buildings going up, but the shop stays mostly the same. I know most of the guys who work in the nearby shops too. We sometimes share tea in the afternoons when things quiet down a bit. It’s a simple life here in Karimpura Bajar, and I’m used to the routine of it all by now. If you're walking down Varachha Road, you'll see us there among the other stalls. I don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
