Gopi Daining Hall

Gopi Daining Hall is located at the Kunti Shopping Centre on Adajan Road. We occupy shops 1, 2, and 3, right across from Saghvi Tower in Surat. The shopping centre is an older building and can be a bit confusing to navigate if you aren't from around here. Our dining hall is designed for people to sit and eat their meals quickly. We use stainless steel plates and cups because they are easier to clean and last a long time. The kitchen is right at the back and you can usually hear the clanging of pots throughout the day. We serve lunch and dinner, mostly traditional style meals that people in Surat are used to eating at home. The fans on the ceiling are always on full speed to deal with the heat. Sometimes the place gets so full that people have to wait outside in the corridor of the shopping centre. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a few clocks and maybe a calendar. The staff wears simple uniforms and they move fast between the tables. Parking near Saghvi Tower is always a bit of a struggle, but our regulars seem to have their own spots figured out. It’s a loud, busy place where people come specifically for the food and not for a long chat. We close up once the dinner service is over and start prepping for the next day.
