Golden Gate Restaurant

We've been here at the Kinnary Multiplex building for a while now. It’s on the first floor, right there on Ring Road in Salabatpura. People usually find us after they finish watching a movie or if they're just out shopping in the area. It gets pretty loud and busy around here, especially in the evenings when the traffic picks up. Anyway, Surat is always moving, you know? We just open the doors every day and get things ready. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too fancy. We have the kitchen in the back and the seating out front. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people take the stairs instead of waiting. Being in this part of Salabatpura means we see a lot of regulars who work nearby. They just want a place to sit for a bit after a long shift. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know we are here because of the sign outside. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, but we manage somehow. We try to keep things clean and make sure there's enough room for everyone. It’s just how we do things here. If you are ever near the Ring Road or coming out of a show at the cinema, you'll probably see our spot. We've seen a lot of shops come and go in this building, but we’re still here doing our thing day after day. It’s just a normal restaurant, really.
