Chandiwala Flavours

Our little place is near Bhavani Vad, right on Haripura Main Road. You can usually smell what we’re doing before you even see the sign for Chandiwala Flavours. We work with all sorts of scents and tastes here. The shop is full of jars and bottles that we’ve organized in a way that only makes sense to us. Haripura is a lively place, and being on the main road means there’s always something happening outside. It’s not a sterile laboratory; it’s a working shop where things get spilled sometimes and the air is thick with different aromas. We spend our days mixing and checking batches. We aren't some massive factory with robots. It’s just human hands doing the work. Sometimes we get the balance just right on the first try, and other times we have to start over. It’s a bit of an art and a lot of trial and error. People stop by to see what’s new or to pick up their usual orders. We have a couple of old stools for people to sit on if they want to chat, but mostly it’s quick business. The sunlight hits the front window in the afternoon and makes all the glass bottles glow. It’s a nice way to spend the day, even if our clothes always smell like vanilla or spices when we go home.
