7-Star Jewels

7-Star Jewels is based in Rajhans Shopping, which is near the Baroda Pristej area. We are in shop number 103. It’s a different world inside compared to the busy street outside. We have our counters and the small workshop area where we look at the pieces. It’s not a massive store with dozens of guards. It’s a more personal place where we sit down and look at things under the magnifying glass. We deal with small tools and fine details all day long. The shopping center gets quite busy in the evenings when people are out doing their errands. We spend a lot of time cleaning jewelry or helping people figure out what fits. It’s a quiet kind of work, very different from the noise of the main road. We don't have a big marketing team writing slogans for us. We just show people what we have in the cases. Sometimes the lighting in the mall can be a bit flickering, but we have our own lamps for the close-up work. It’s a local business through and through. We know the regulars who come in to get their rings resized or just to see what’s new in the display. Being near Baroda Pristej means there’s always someone walking by. We just focus on the craft and keep things simple. We usually open up mid-morning and stay until the mall starts to quiet down at night. It’s a small shop but it’s got everything we need to do our daily tasks and manage the repairs people bring in.
