369 Speciality Food Llp is based in Shop No. 104 on the ground floor of the Golden Plaza in Navagam, Kamrej. Being in a plaza means there is always something going on around us. We have neighbors running all sorts of businesses, from mobile shops to cloth merchants. Our shop is where we keep our specialty food items and handle the local distribution in Surat. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high to make everything fit. Sometimes the hallway gets crowded when we are unloading a new shipment. We didn't really have a plan when we started, we just knew we wanted to sell food products that were a bit different. My cousin helps me with the deliveries and the paperwork. We don't have a fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. The plaza can get really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a fan running constantly. People pop their heads in to see what we have, and we just talk to them like regular neighbors. We don't do any big promotions. We just rely on the fact that we are here every day and people know they can find us. Navagam is a growing area and there's always new construction happening nearby, which brings in even more people to the plaza. It’s a busy life in Surat, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
