Vaishno Rasoi

We’ve been here in Kalkaji for quite some time now. Our shop is number 12, right on the main road in Krishna Market. It's easy to find because we're quite close to Deshbandhu College. Most days it’s just us doing the usual work, cooking and making sure the food is ready for whoever walks in. People around here know us mostly for being a simple spot where you can get a meal without any fuss. The kitchen stays busy, especially during lunch when the students and shopkeepers come by. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It's just a regular place with tables and chairs where you can sit and eat. We try to keep the place clean and the food tastes like what you'd get at home. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded and loud, especially on weekends, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We open up in the morning and stay late into the evening. It's a lot of work but it keeps us going. If you're walking around the market or coming from the college, you'll see our sign. We've stayed in the same spot for years because the regulars seem to like it here. It's nothing special, just honest cooking and a place to rest for a bit while you eat. We’re just happy to serve the local community here in Kalkaji every day and hope people keep coming.
