Sunny Caterers Tent & Light House

Our spot is in the 110019 area, right on the ground floor. It's a bit of a tight squeeze inside because we have so much stuff packed in there. There are stacks of folded chairs, rolls of colored cloth for the tents, and bundles of wires for all the lighting work. We do a lot of heavy lifting. My guys and I spend most of our time loading things onto the trucks and then unloading them late at night when a party is over. It’s physical work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the week. The ground floor is where we store everything and where people come to talk about their events. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. We just talk through what they need, like how many lights or what kind of food. The catering side is busy too. We have to get the vegetables from the market early and start the big burners. It gets very hot when the cooking starts. Sometimes things go wrong, like a light bulb blowing out or a truck getting stuck in traffic, but we just deal with it. We’ve been doing this for years in this neighborhood. Most of the local families know us by now. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of hard work and making sure the tents stay up even when it’s windy. We aren't a big company, just a small crew working out of a ground floor space.
