Shri Krishna Sweet House

You will find our shop in Uttam Nagar, at Plot No S/3 in Param Puri. It is a typical local sweet shop where the smell of frying samosas and sugar syrup is always in the air. We start early in the kitchen at the back, getting the milk boiling and the dough ready for the day’s snacks. Param Puri is a crowded area, so there is a constant flow of people walking past our counter. We have a glass display case where we put out the fresh laddoos, barfis, and whatever else we made that morning. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a few stainless steel trays and some scales to weigh everything out. During the morning and evening hours, it gets really crowded with people wanting tea or a quick snack to take home. We try to keep up with the demand, but sometimes the line gets a bit long and people have to wait. We’ve been here in Uttam Nagar for a while, and we know many of the families who come to us for their festival sweets. The floor can get a bit sticky by the end of the day, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up after the rush. We don't use any special machines; most of the work is done by hand, the way we learned it years ago. It’s just us doing our best to keep the neighborhood fed with something sweet. We just keep going until the trays are empty.
