Govind Caterers,Bajrang Sweets

We’ve been here in Tughlakabad Extension for a good while now. Our spot is right by the Raghunath Mandir in Nehru Apartment. It's a busy corner, and most people around here know where we are. We started out just doing sweets at Bajrang Sweets and then got into the catering side with Govind Caterers because people kept asking for food for their home functions. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen making sure the laddoos and snacks are fresh. It gets pretty hectic during festival times, especially with the temple nearby. We don't have a fancy office or anything. Most of our meetings with customers happen right at the counter or in the back room over a cup of chai. We just handle the cooking and the deliveries for weddings or small parties nearby in CR Park and the surrounding blocks. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but we’re used to it. The kitchen is always noisy with someone chopping something or a big pot boiling. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs food for fifty people, we figure out what we can do and just get on with it. No big contracts or complicated menus here. We just use what’s available in the market. Sometimes things get delayed if traffic is bad near the apartments, but we always find a way to get the food there eventually.
