Rasoraj Sweets

Rasoraj Sweets is our shop in C R Park, specifically at D- 767. If you know Delhi at all, you probably know that Chittaranjan Park is the place to be for traditional things. We are situated right opposite Market Number -2, so it stays pretty busy around our front door most of the time. Making sweets is a long day of work and we have to start very early every single morning. The smell of sugar and milk is just part of the air here now. We grew up around these specific recipes and it felt natural to keep them going in the neighborhood. The area has a very specific feel to it, very local and friendly to everyone. We see the same faces every day coming in for their favorites. It is not a giant factory or anything like that, just our small kitchen and the display counter out front. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected, which can be a bit frustrating for customers, but that is just how it goes sometimes. People come from all over Delhi, not just from C R Park, which is always nice to see. We try to keep the shop clean and the trays full of fresh items. It is a lot of standing on your feet and talking to people all day. Market Number -2 across the street keeps the foot traffic moving. We have seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up over the years.
