Konark Namkeen

Our little shop, Konark Namkeen, is right at F-124 in Katwaria Sarai. We are easy to spot because we sit right in front of Kuan 1. That old well is a landmark for everyone around here. There is almost always a smell of frying and spices coming from our place, which probably tells you more about us than any description could. We’ve been serving the local crowd here—lots of students and families who live in the narrow lanes of the Sarai. The space is small, and sometimes it gets crowded when people are waiting for fresh batches. We don't have a fancy logo or a big marketing plan. We just make the snacks the way we learned how to years ago. Sometimes the salt is a little more or the spice is a little less depending on the day, but that’s because real people are making it, not machines in a factory. We buy our ingredients from the local markets and spend most of our time over the stoves. It gets sweaty and loud, but seeing people munching on our stuff makes it worth it. If you’re walking past the Kuan, you’ll likely see us bagging up orders. We don't use fancy packaging either; it's mostly about what’s inside the bag. We just want to keep the community fed with something crunchy while they go about their day without making a big fuss about the process.
