Aggarwal Sweet Corner

If you walk through Krishna Market near Deshbandhu College, you’ll find Aggarwal Sweet Corner at Shop No 1. We have been sitting here on this corner for years, watching the students pass by and the market grow busier every season. It is a small shop, and during the festivals, it gets incredibly crowded with people buying boxes of sweets for their families. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun is even fully up, to get the fresh batches ready. The smell of frying snacks and sugar syrup is something we are just used to now, though visitors always mention it. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished website; we just put the trays out and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes the college kids come in groups for a quick bite between their classes, and the place gets really loud for a while. Our staff is mostly just a few guys who have been doing this a long time, so they know the recipes by heart. The shop is pretty basic. We have the usual glass counters and some stools for people to sit on if they aren't in a hurry. It can get a bit dusty with the road right there, but we try our best to keep things tidy. It is just a regular sweet shop doing its thing in Kalkaji. We don't use fancy packaging, just the same simple boxes we've used for years to pack up whatever someone picks out.
