Shivayan Jewellers

We have been here in Sant Nagar for quite a while now. The shop is at number 190, just a short walk from the busy Nehru Place area. It gets quite crowded around here in the evenings, but we like the energy of the market. Inside, things are usually quiet unless a regular customer drops by to show us something they need fixed or if they are looking for a small gift for a wedding. My father started this because he liked working with his hands and seeing how people get when they find the right piece. We don't have those fancy automatic doors or huge glowing billboards you see in the big malls. It is just a simple place where we keep the glass cases clean and wait for the morning sun to hit the display. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat about the local news or the weather. We know most people by name around here. It takes time to look at jewelry properly, so we don't rush anyone who comes in. The drawers are full of tools and boxes that have been there for years. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there might be a few papers out of place on the desk. That is just how it goes when you are working. We focus on the work at hand and making sure everything is handled carefully before it goes back in the velvet bag. We are just local people doing our thing.
