Roshan Namkeen

Roshan Namkeen is located on the Arjun Garh Jonapur road, right in the Jonapur Main market. It’s a lively market and we are right in the thick of it. We have big glass jars filled with different snacks lining the front of the shop. We spend most of our mornings weighing out bags and sealing them up. The smell of fried spices is always in the air here, which we don't even notice anymore, but visitors usually do. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there’s always someone we know hanging around the back. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems. We still write things down and use a basic scale for the orders. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of foot traffic over the years. We get a lot of people stopping by on their way home to grab something for tea time. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with trucks, and it gets very dusty, so we are constantly dusting off the jars to keep them looking okay. We don't have a polished story about how we started. We just needed a way to make a living and this is what we knew how to do. We aren't looking to expand into a big brand. We just like being part of the Jonapur market and seeing the same neighbors every day. It’s just a normal, everyday shop.
