Our office is on the 3rd floor, unit B-1A -15, inside the Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate. It sits right on the busy Mathura Road. This is a very active part of Delhi with trucks, buses, and cars moving past all the time. We work for Omron Automation here. Even though the company is a big name globally, our local office feels like any other busy workplace. We have a lot of desks, some demo equipment for testing, and plenty of files. We deal with industrial automation projects. Most of our day is spent in technical discussions about sensors, switches, and controllers. The building is one of those large blocks you see all over the estate. We have a lift, but it can be quite slow during the morning rush, so many of us just take the stairs. Most of the staff here has been with us for a long time. We don't do any of the fancy marketing or promotional stuff in this branch. We just handle the local accounts and help engineers figure out which specific parts they need for their assembly lines. It involves a lot of phone calls and sorting through emails. Lunch is usually a quick affair at our desks or sometimes we go to a local food stall nearby. It is a very practical and plain environment. We don’t have a big lounge or a fancy break room. Just our workstations. We try to be helpful and quick.
