Kard Foods Llp

We’re down in the basement at 3/17 in Kalkaji Extension. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it works for what we need at Kard Foods. Working from a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief in Delhi. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything. Mostly, we just focus on the food and getting it ready for the day. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who’ve known each other for a long time. We do all the heavy lifting ourselves, moving crates around and keeping the inventory straight. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, but we've got our routine down. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like having our own space to run things our way. It gets a bit noisy when the machines are running, but we’re used to it by now. We spend most of our time in aprons, not suits. If you came by, you’d probably see us labeling bags or checking the scales. It’s hard work and your back hurts at the end of the day, but it’s okay. We’ve been in this part of Kalkaji for a while now. The local tea stall knows us pretty well because we’re always there on our breaks. Just a regular bunch of people trying to make a living with food without any bells and whistles.
