Jain Sweets

If you ever find yourself on Aurobindo Marg near Yusuf Sarai, you’ll see our shop at 76/1. We are Jain Sweets, and we’ve been right here in this spot for more years than I can count. The street outside is always noisy with cars and buses, but inside it’s all about the smell of sugar and milk. We don't have a big team of people; it’s just a few of us who have been doing this for a long time. The shop itself is quite old-fashioned. The glass counters have some scratches on them, and the floor is a bit worn down from all the feet walking over it. We don't use any modern machinery to make our sweets. Everything is done by hand, using the same methods my grandfather used. We don't have a fancy menu or seasonal specials. We just make the traditional sweets that people around here like. When it’s festival season, the line goes out the door and we’re all working until late at night to keep up. It can be exhausting, but it’s what we do. We don't spend any time on social media or advertising. Most people find us because their parents or grandparents used to shop here. It’s a small, honest business and we take pride in just showing up every day and doing our job. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi, just a reliable one for the people of Yusuf Sarai.
