Haldiram Retail operates out of the B-1/H-3 block in the Mohan Co-Operative Industrial Estate, right off Mathura Road. This area is always buzzing with activity because of all the big warehouses and offices nearby. Being on Mathura Road means there’s a constant stream of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. Our building is a large, practical structure designed for moving goods in and out quickly. Inside, the floors are wide and open, which is necessary for the amount of retail stock we have to handle. It’s not a quiet place; there’s always the sound of forklifts or people moving pallets around. Even though it's a bigger name, the day-to-day work here is very much about the basics. We spend our hours checking lists, moving boxes, and making sure the inventory matches the records. The staff here is a mix of people from all over South Delhi and the surrounding areas. We have a break area where people sit and eat, but most of the time is spent on the floor getting things done. The dust from the road can be a bit of a challenge, so we're always cleaning the surfaces. It’s a massive industrial estate, and our spot at B-1/H-3 is just one part of the busy network here. We don’t do a lot of fancy talking about what we do; we just focus on the logistics and making sure the shelves stay stocked. It’s a lot of physical work and long hours, but we keep moving until the orders are finished.
