Krishna Market is always full of life, especially near shop number 6 where we are. We’ve been here in Lajpat Nagar I for a long time now. Most mornings start early because we have to get all the snacks and namkeen ready before the main crowd arrives. It’s a lot of work handling the bags and making sure everything is fresh. The smell of fried snacks is just part of the air here. Neighbors stop by to chat while they pick up something for their evening tea. We don’t have a fancy seating area, just the counter and the shelves packed with whatever we’ve made that day. Sometimes the market gets so busy you can hardly move, but that’s just how Lajpat Nagar is. We know most of the people who walk by name. It’s not just about selling stuff; it’s about being part of the street. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains, but we still open up. We focus on the things people like to eat every day. Nothing too complicated or modern. Just traditional snacks that have been around since my father’s time. We keep the place clean as much as we can, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. If you’re walking through Krishna Market, you’ll probably see us right there. It’s a simple life running a namkeen shop, but it keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night.
