You can find us in the basement at number 26 in the Defence Colony Market. It’s a bit cooler down here, which is actually good for the flowers. We spend most of our mornings unpacking crates of roses, lilies, and whatever else came in from the farms. There is always water on the floor and stems everywhere while we work. It’s a messy job, honestly. Your hands get stained and you get poked by thorns more than you’d like. We make up bouquets and arrangements for whatever people need, whether it’s a birthday or just something for the house. The market gets quite crowded, especially in the evenings, so we are usually rushing to finish orders before the delivery guys show up. We have a few regular customers from around the neighborhood who stop by just to see what’s fresh today. It smells nice down here, though you get used to it after an hour or two. We don’t have a big fancy storefront upstairs, just our basement spot where we do the actual work. Sometimes we run out of specific colors, and we have to explain that to people. It’s just how it goes with fresh plants. We’ve been in Defence Colony for a long time, and we like being part of the market scene here. It keeps us busy and the flowers keep us on our toes every single morning.
