Bengali Sweets Centre

Our shop is at G 19 in South Extension Part I. This is a well-known area and we have been a part of it for a long time. People usually come to this part of Delhi for shopping, and they often stop by our place when they need a break or want to take something home. We specialize in the kind of sweets you would expect from a place with our name, and we try to keep the traditions alive. The shop is often full of the smell of sugar and milk being boiled down. We have several staff members who have been behind the counter for ages, and they know many of our customers by name. It is a busy environment, especially in the evenings when the market is at its peak. We do not really do much advertising; we just let the food speak for itself. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the traffic outside on the main road, but once you step inside, it is all about the sweets. We take pride in the fact that we have stayed in the same spot for so many years while the rest of South Extension has changed around us. It is a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly every day, but we are used to the rhythm of the shop by now. We just focus on the counter and the customers who walk through the door.
