Arora Confectionery

My family started Arora Confectionery a while back. We are tucked away in the Jhilmil Industrial Area at B 13/2. It is a busy spot in Shahdara with lots of factories around. People come by for basic things like biscuits or some sweets when they are on their break. We do not have a big fancy storefront. It is mostly about getting the inventory right so the local workers have what they need for their tea time. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really heavy, especially in the afternoons when everyone is leaving. Dealing with suppliers takes up most of my morning. I try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual stuff like candies and packaged snacks. It is a small operation. Just me and a couple of guys helping out with the boxes. We have been here for a bit now. The walls could use a new coat of paint but it works for what we do. People around here know where we are. We open early because the factories start their shifts. It gets dusty being in an industrial zone. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars. We just sell what people ask for. It is nothing special, just a regular shop. We do not really do any advertising. If you are walking past B 13/2, you will see us. The tea shop next door usually has a crowd. We just keep our heads down and work. It is a quiet life despite the noise.
