Yashoram Farmer Producer Company Limited

Yashoram is based right here in the Sillod area, specifically in Balaji Nagar. If you head behind the power house, you’ll find our office at Plot Number 146. It’s a busy little spot, especially during the harvest season. We are officially a farmer producer company, but really, we are just a group of neighbors and friends working the land together. We have some space at 19/3 and 19/6 where we take care of the business side of things. It isn't a corporate headquarters with fancy furniture or anything like that. Usually, there’s a bit of mud on the floor and some sacks of grain stacked in the corner. We focus on the crops that grow well in this part of Sillod. Our whole lives revolve around the seasons. When it’s time to sow, you won’t find any of us in the office because we’re all out in the dirt. When it’s time to reap, we’re all exhausted but happy. We started this company to give ourselves a little more weight when it comes time to sell our produce. It is much harder for people to ignore us when we come together as a group. We spend a lot of our time chatting about rain clouds and whether the pests are going to be a problem this year. We don’t use big words or have fancy brochures to hand out. If you want to know what we are up to, you just stop by and ask someone. It is all very practical.
